Hello and welcome. My name is Angie.
I am a HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist and member of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT).
I currently provide art psychotherapy and arts facilitation through Arise Art Therapy services both in person and online. Services can be adapted to suit needs of individuals or groups as well as children oradults.

Who can benefit
from Art Therapy?• Absolutely anyone! People of all ages and stages can benefit from Art Therapy. It is extremely inclusive and adaptive to meet a broad range of needs, abilities and interests.
• It is especially useful for anyone who may benefit from alternative ways of communicating other than or in addition to talking.
Do I need to be good at Art?
• You do not need to be skilled at art to attend Art Therapy.
• There are many creative approaches than can be explored -there is something for everyone!
•Your art therapist is trained to help guide and support you to the best approach that works for you.
Is it the same as art class?
• No. Whilst art making can have many benefits, Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy and is a clinical, confidential intervention.
